Back in December, I created this little artwork of a fluffy robin to scan and produce printed Christmas cards to send out to friends and family. He was so well received and attracted much attention with lots of lovely comments made, that I have decided to make the image available as an art print.
It’s not very often that I get around to doing anything creative on paper or canvas these days, most of the day is dedicated to producing graphics and printed materials to support the various businesses I work with. By the end of the day most of my creative energy is used up. I relax by taking dogs out for their usual adventures around the fields and then all my physical energy is used up too! So having absolutely made myself switch off the PC for an hour or so and get out my box of pastels, I managed to capture this little chap on paper, his plumage all fluffed up to keep out the winter winds. Then I scanned and printed a run of cards to send out. I always get nice comments when I ask for a reaction to my graphic work but I hadn’t expected the reaction that I got to him at all.
